Have you ever followed a friends advice?

or do you just ask and do what you want anyway?

I don't think I will give out any more advice.Have you ever followed a friends advice?
Advice is meant to be additional options to consider...People think that if they are asked for advice...it should be followed...when in reality all the asker is doing is saying...what would YOU do...in same situation...then that response is filtered for what feels right to the asker.Have you ever followed a friends advice?
I don't think you should stop giving out advice, there might be a time when one of your friends really needs your help...

I'm always askin my friends what they would do in situations and stuff, and they ask me to give them advice too (Though, god knows why...!) so its pretty much two way. To be honest, I do usually follow advice that I'm given unless I've basically already made up my mind and....well, then I don't know why I'd be asking them.

But I think its very important to have good friends who you can talk to and who'll give you good advice and actually care. I don't know what I'd do without my friends, they've got me outta sh*t more times than I can remember.
Yes and I definitely under appreciate the advice of friends.

I usually fall back on the ';you don't really know'; defense, but the problem is, THEY DO KNOW.
Good advice be prone to hear,

from a friend that cares for you,

if he says what's right to do,

then be wise and give it ear.
Yes I will follow their advice if I know they have my best interest in mind. If it is somebody who has hurt me or offended me in the past, I just take it with a grain of salt.
It depends on the friend

some people don't know what they are talking about

so I just put it in consideration, but won't act.
If I ask for the advice, I try my hardest to follow it ... in my own way. I don't blindly do what others ';advise.';
yes, I guess I'll stay for one more beer.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?

Just curious, plus I'm in need of some good advice right now. Thanks! What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
Ive been given several good advice but my top are:

%26gt;no man is worth your tears and when he is he will never make you cry.

%26gt;despite any situation you are in, just remeber no one has control over you life but yourself. Only you have control over the desicions you make.

%26gt;mistakes are learning experiences and are good for you but if you continue to make the SAME mistake then you will never learn and live a life of many regrets.

%26gt;Dont let little things bring you down. You have only one life to live and if you waste it being miserable then you did not live life to its fullest.

%26gt;no one is perfect and thats including you. dont be too hard on yourself to make others happy but do what makes you happy. you dont have to be hard on yourself on everything you do, you can only do your best.

%26gt;Never doubt your potential. What's the best piece of advice you've ever been given?
Let go and move on
Don't fool yourself.

Life is a balance.

you are a guy right because your name is prashant or r you a girl using a guys id?????????Hello, everybody, i just want a advice from you that everyday my mom and my sister goes to the market for buy ?
well, if you just want to go to the market with them, wear a simple dress, whatever color you want, and make up, uhm..dont wear too much, haha, no lipstick, maybe eye liner and gloss, thats it. :)
If how you want to dress isn't acceptable in your home it's probably best to wait until you live on your own and can be who you really are.
You should ask your mom. And if she says no makeup, don't argue or you probably won't be going to the market for a while.
simplicity is always best to go everywhere.follow ur sister.
Forget going any where just home and practice your english no
better u should ask ur mom..wht she likes???n abt make upu can take light make up as asked by ur mom......

Please can you give me some advice on these a-levels?

I would like to do something in medicine and I'm starting college in September. I'm planning to take Biology, Chemistry, Maths and one other. I was thinking Psychology but I'm not sure. What subjects do you recommend which will support my other subjects and set me in good stead for what I want to do?Please can you give me some advice on these a-levels?
you can choose one subject you enjoy or you can choose physics because maths supports physics. If you have all science and 1 maths, then your options are not wide. Please can you give me some advice on these a-levels?
Hmm not sure about Psychology, as many medical schools like to teach you all ';medical'; things themselves, (that's why some don't require Biology A-level - they teach you all the biology you need in a few weeks when you get there)

Chemistry and Maths are a definite though and biology at most places there, so good pick there.

There's not anywhere that recommends anything other thanthree e sciences and maths, so I would pick something that's different (History, English,Philosophy) and that you enjoy (and a goodtalking point at your interview. If offered, and studied to GCSE, Latin is always helpful for naming things/bones/everything really.

But mainly, once you've satisfied the entry requirements, pick something enjoyable
I would recommend physics.

From experience:

Maths underpins Physics which underpins Chemistry which underpins Biology.

Simple!

Also, although Psycology may sound 'Doctor-y', it won't be as valuable as Physics when it comes to university selection boards trying to choose students for a very oversubscribed medical course.

Hope this gives you insight!
Do Maths Biology, Chemistry, And any other creative subject.

Medicine is very competitive, so they want people who have more varied abilities. So a creative subject is useful. i think you should drop maths second year.
Psychology is a good field to study in but i personally would go with physics to add on to your math and science majors.

  • What is the most important advice you would give a first time mom?

I am writing a book about advice that people from around the country feel is important and would like to share. Please answer honestly. I appreciate your taking time to answer. What is the most important advice you would give a first time mom?
No new mother is perfect, or any mother for that fact. Just try to be as patient as possible and when you are feeling overwhelmed, ask someone to help you out by watching the baby for a little bit so you can have a breather. There will be times when you feel like screaming and don't feel like you are a bad mother because of it. Every mother feels like that at one time or another. What is the most important advice you would give a first time mom?
Always, always trust your instinct when it comes to your babies health. i have a 1 year old, and when she was about 3 months she had a cough, well i took her to the doctor, and her pediatrician said that it was just nature. After a week the cough hadn't gone away, so once again i take her to her doctor, this time it's just congestion in her chest. Well just to be sure i took my baby to the E.R., and it turns out her ';congestion'; was pneumonia, she ended up in the hospital for 2 weeks, so if you feel you baby is sick always trust your instinct.
Its impossible to spoil a newborn. Be patient and loving even when they scream non-stop ... there is a reason for it.
Get as much sleep as you can when you can, because babies soon outgrow their naps, and then you are exhausted.
Three kids and three grandkids later, I have to say my best advice would be LIGHTEN UP! Most new moms are so nervous and scared to death. Kids are not as fragile as new moms think. Enjoy them!
To be very patient with her baby and herself. Most first time moms get lost in the illusion that babies are all cuddles and smiles. The reality is that babies do not come with instructions and real quick they learn that what they have been reading in books and magazines is just not that easy. While they do provide some guidelines into the growth of your baby, the reality of the late night feedings and distinguishing cries, the 'i don't know what to do i have tried everything' brings many emotions into play that a first time mom will find overwhelming to say the least. So patience is very important. As a first time mom again (my daughter just turned 16) of a 5 month old I have had to deal with such emotions. I have learned to 'read' my baby's sounds and movements, his cries and noises to tell me something. He is truly a blessing to us. So I would say patience and of course, don't believe everything you read.
It is ok to have help... don't feel like you have to be SuperMom 24/7. You still need to take care of yourself too, plenty of rest and all that. Your baby needs you to be healthy and happy. It is ok to learn as you go, don't buckle under to thinking you have to know everything at once. Just love that baby... everything will work out fine.
Never believe that you are unable to do this! If you have a question on anything, ASK! Don't just guess about the life or health of a child. If you need help. ASK Don't think you can do it all alone...No good mother does! It still takes a village to raise a child. If it feels wrong, it most likely is! Don't let another person tell you that everything is fine if your gut tells you differently. (be sure it isn't panic also) Try to let all those colds run their course and leave the medicine for the real sickness. Colds are a part of life.
Years go by fast. Love long and forever, cherish deepley, take in moments deeply and wisley. Breathe. Eveything will be alright, just breathe.
Smile even when you change a poopy diaper
Colic WILL pass--tell them lots about THAT, please. :P

Start putting those photos in an album right away, as it's happening, and writing at least a sentence or two about each stage. (I did this at first, then slacked, then it was too late--You think you'll remember all those itty bitty details, and then you don't!)

Record on video as much as possible. As much as you have, you'll wish you had double. Soooo precious to revisit as years fly by, and they do fly!

Good question! Hope you get your book out there to help new moms!!

P.s. Oh--make up your own little songs and sing them while diapering, bathing, etc. Give your baby/toddler a sweet nickname that they'll beg you NOT to use when they're about 8 yrs. old---I have been so sweetly surprised at how much my 10 y.o. craves hearing those old ';baby'; songs and wants to hear her nickname (when friends aren't around). :)
    I have no kids myself, but my mother always told others, ';Only leave your children with people who insist they hate kids.';
Well I am 15, and I would LOVE to have a kid. If your not a kid person, don't have un protected sex! Also don;t ahve a kid if you are 18 and under, your body isn't done growing till then, maybe after that! So that causes a c-section and most girls don;t like scars on there bellys
    After your child stops waking you up, at all hours of the night, and it's your turn to wake him up, do it with a gentle, loving touch and whisper, ';Good morning Sweetheart it's time to wake up.';

And in the evening, always remember to hug your child and then tell him how much you love him.
