Can you give me any advice about web sites to learn how to invest in stocks and shares?

I am mainly interested in italian web sites but also in foreign onesCan you give me any advice about web sites to learn how to invest in stocks and shares?
start by going to a financal adviser that deals in that area, they will give you all the ins and outs , do your homework on this first. you worked hard for your money , you want to keep as much as possible, good luck and watch your pennys....Can you give me any advice about web sites to learn how to invest in stocks and shares?
There are quite a few that will teach you. Start with any broker you can think of, Merril Lynch, Etrade, etc.... and search their web tools. Also, Yahoo stocks can be very beneficial. Start with a Mock Portfolio, pick some stocks you might be interested in, maybe some companies from your home state and pretend to buy a certain amount of thier stock. You can use yahoo to track the stocks you ';purchased'; over time and learn how everything works. They have some great resources to teach you all you need to know.

I did this two years ago and it allows me to see how much i would have made or lost. use realistic figures for how much your thinking of investing. Name the portfolio Stocks-Play or Stocks-Practice. You will become addicted to learning all you can about your companies. Read Stock perspecitives, find out what type of companies interest you, technology, communications, manufacturing, etc. Keep your eye on the news, see whos bidding on big projects, start thinking of where they are buying all the materials for hurricane clean up, etc. There are opportunities and resources everywhere! Good Luck
