You would be much better having your own website and sell your jewelry directly. This way you avoid paying the ever-increasing eBay fees and have more control over how you presell your visitors.
Unless your jewelry is highly unique or designer pieces it can be a difficult task trying to sell it on eBay. Jewelry is one of those things that people like to touch and feel on them before they make a decision to buy - eBay doesn't really lend itself to that.
