I have my car practical test in few days time. So can you please give me some good advice on practical test.?

I have my practical test for manual car in few days time. So can you please tell me what kind of things would i be expected to do. Is the practical test very hard to pass? And what kind of manuovers will i have to do etc.

thanks.I have my car practical test in few days time. So can you please give me some good advice on practical test.?
The examiner is nothing to be scared of. He/she is only another human being! Just pretend it's your regular instructor.... and *relax*.

A bit of info that really helped me is this. Beware of your natural tendency to relax when the test is NEARLY over. Keep your focus until you've finished parking at the end of the test. I'm told that quite a few people fail in the last 5 minutes of their test because they know it's nearly over %26amp; relax too much too early.

*** GOOD LUCK ***I have my car practical test in few days time. So can you please give me some good advice on practical test.?
Beware of the moon. ;O)

good luck b.t.w.!
Apart from normal driving, you will have to do a multi-point turn and an emergency stop.

You may also have to perform a parallel park manoeuvre.

But the main thing is to keep calm and try not to be nervous.

Good luck!!!
normally these tests consist of driving, making a three point turn, parking and getting out of a parking space, how you handle stop signs, blinkers and then a few questions on how you would park if on a hill

make sure to come to a complete stop at the stop signs thats a good way to fail so stop at the stop sings and hold your car there for a couple more seconds than usual
Dont panic.

Chill out.

If you dont pass then try again.

Good luck.
RELAX - don't try to impress the examiner but just drive as you would if you had already passed. Take into account the hazards you encounter, read the road markings and the road signs and keep your distance. But really do ignore the examiner and just pretend you are out on your own.

Edit: 3 point turn, reverse round a corner, emergency stop, parallel park, hill start, poss hill start from a parking space and that's about it.
Perfect your observations. Cant stress that enough. They have been and always will be the biggest points killer.

Before each manouver take a second to think.

KEEP GOING!!! Even if it seems hopeless keep driving as you would normally. Dont give up, I saw my examiner putting then pen to the paper loads and yet I still passed first time. I got 12 minors but its still a pass.

I did the whole test with the boot open, it was tipping it down, an old lady literally jumped out in front of me. Its not difficult of you keep your head and drive exactly how you do with your instructor.
I assume by the question that you have not been taking lessons with a driving school otherwise you would know

You could be asked to do any or all of the following:

Pass the eyesight test

Reverse into a side street

turn in the road

parallel park

emergency stop

drive safely

use indicators, gears and mirrors correctly

know how to navigate through junctions, roundabouts and traffic lights correctly

and yes it's tough
You don't say where you're from - driving tests can be slightly different depending on the state (if you're in the US) or province (if you're Canadian).

Usually, the hardest part is parallel parking. There's no easy trick but to practice, practice, practice! You'll probably also have to execute a 3-point turn, as well as recognizing and reacting to a few common road signs (stop, yield, etc.) The rest is easy.

As a general tip, when in doubt, be very cautious. I failed my first road test because at a stop sign, I stopped so that the nose of the car was 2 inches over the white line on the pavement next to the stop sign. In the real world, no cop would ever write you a ticket for such a thing, but the proctors for driving tests are sticklers for details like that.

Good luck, and practice as much as you can before the test!
conentrate
Just relax. They always test your stopping and 3 point turn. They also want to know how hesitant you are. It's not a difficult test depending on how nervous you are and how well you've been taught.

Best of luck!
just dont peal out run overkids and if the light is yellow floor it so you can pass it before it gets to red lol j/k Just relax. They always test your stopping and 3 point turn. make sure you look over your shoulder when backing up and keep your eyes on the road
