How do you fund your one year trip around the world?





Where do you get the money to travel around the world for 1 or 2 years?





- Do you work and save before embarking on the trip?





- Do you work as you travel? E.g Apply work permit in a foreign country you are in and work for a few months before continuing to travel?How do you fund your one year trip around the world? PLEASE, i need advice!?
first of my trip: I started July 12Th 2005 from LA - London - Berlin - Piza - Rome - Firenze - Venezia - Zurich - Geneve - Paris - Vienna - Prague - Moscow - Dubai - Singapore - Perth - Sydney - Santiago - Buenos Aires - Lima - Cancun - Mexico city - San Diego. returned June 30Th 2006





While i was in college I worked a ton and i was making really good money, i kept my expenses to a minimum I also have friends in most of the places i vistied, London, Berlin, Rome, Perth, Santiago, Lima and Mexico city all of those places i stayed at friends houses... so that help a ton and lastly I sold my car and when i returned i bough a small car to get me back on my feet.





it was TOTALY WORTH IT!





Edit: I forgot to ad that i did not work anywhere i went. I figure is best to see whats out there instead of in the kitchen of some restaurant or something like that... i did work like a horse back at home and thats how i made it everywhereHow do you fund your one year trip around the world? when my dad joined the NAVY in our country he got the chance to go around the world.... maybe you should do the same because it is not cheap
