I would like advice on losing weight when you are an emotional eater?

im an emotional eater who eats when im bored or had a stressful day at work i don't have a boyfriend and this upsets me also and i eat for comfort. any advice?I would like advice on losing weight when you are an emotional eater?
First, start a food journal..on this journal write down your goals...ie: how many lbs to lose, what exercise to do each day, etc....be realistic, if you choose a goal that is not easily attainable you will be more likely to give up..as you reach your goals you can up them to the next level. As you begin to write down what you eat each day you will see patterns emerge..this will help you understand what other things/emotions trigger your eating. Clean out your cupboards, no more junk in the house..replace it with healthy foods. If the junk food is not there then it won't tempt you as easily. These are a few ideas..the best one though is to get a buddy to diet and exercises with. I will be happy to give you more pointers, just email me. If you are looking for a boyfriend you are going about it in the wrong way.


Sweetie, you have to eat healthy, cut back on eating, exercise to get in a decent healty shape. If you get emotional, put a list of items or things to do in your mind or on paper, so when you get emotional you can reference them. The list will entail activities and other things you can do and probably eat to keep you from binge eating.


Being overweight %26amp; outshape will decrease your chances in finding someone. The last thing you want to have to worry about if you do find someone, is to lose weight to keep him.
Well, instead of eating when you feel bad do something else that's productive. It's easier to get over bad habits when you switch the habits for something else. Good night!
