What advice do you have for students that drop out of high school?

Go back to school and get your education. It is the best thing that you can achieve in life.What advice do you have for students that drop out of high school?
The advice I have for someone who drops out of high school is: Go back and finish! Get that diploma! At the very least get a GED.

It's rough out here and you NEED education to get ANYWHERE. Rare is the person who can make it for good and for long on bluff and bluster alone.

No matter the reason -- go back, finish, improve oneself.

Besides, education is its own reward.What advice do you have for students that drop out of high school?
Did you know that people who have college degrees earn more than double what those that just graduate from high school? That translate into $100,000. per year (example) for a college graduate and $50,000. per year for a high school graduate. If you don't even graduate from high school, just imagine how less money you would make. Stay in school. You can do it!
Get a GED
do you want to go back? if you do try the year coming
get a job
learn the phrase ';would you like fries with that';
Get your G.E.D. and go to a community college and get at least a minimum of a 2 year associate's degree that you can pick up a vocation. You will regret dropping out of school someday. If you don't go beyond high school, you may make it, but statistics show that you will double your income if you have a vocation or college education.
Seek alternative resources for obtaining your diploma or GED. Online learning, Life Skills education center, JOB Corps, etc. Your education is vital, it is a means to assist you in enriching your life. It will open doors, that may ultimately be closed without your diploma. The future is making great changes, one is that without an education job seekers are going to face many challenges when seeking employment opportunites. As you get older you will understand the importance of knowledge, high school may seem bleak right now , but, stay focused on the prize (Diploma), it opens doors to college, employment, and self gratification, accomplishment.
drop back in, as fast as you can
Go back to school. Quick.
first of all I have a question for you...Why in the world would you drop out of high school? And the best advvice is unles you have a garenteed, well paying job, you need to go back to school. and get the education that you need. Once you graduate you will see that everything that you did wasn't as hard as you made it seem and that it was all simple compared to what you have to face in the future. If you think that you can go with out geting your deploma or GED you are crazy, most jobs that pay good money require that you have eather a GED or high school deploma. so droping out you are only hearting yourself in the long run.
get your G.e.d. and then GO TO COLLEGE!!!!! i say this from personal experience- i dropped out and the ged was verrry easy (with a ged prep course) but i never was able to REAlly make any decent money with out a degree (that WAS A HUGE MISTAKE I WILL NEVER FORGET!!!!!) and i f i had it to do all over again i would have went to college then insted of now at 29. DO U WANT A FAST FOOD OR RETAIL BULLSH*T JOB?? DO U WANT TO BE BOSSED AROUND BY A 16 YEAR OLD WHEN YOU ARE 26?
Get your GED. In today's work environment, its nearly mandatory.
go back %26amp; finish.
Get your GED
Go back to school. If not at least try to get your GED.
try to get into a program that helps you get your ged and maybe give you some work partime too.. there is programs out there like that.. you go to school and you work too...contact the job council.. i know they have one here but i do not even know where you live.. contact your local welfare office and see if they have any program like that...
Don't.
why did you drop out of high school!?
go back to school because even McDonalds wont hire you
go back and graduate. everyone thinks that if they drop out and go back later on to get their GED, that's its going to be a peice of cake, when really its not.
i dropped out for a short while but believe me, without a proper education these days it is difficult to hack it out there. even if you were to go into business you need to have some brains and the brains get bigger when you go back to study. i am now 51 years old and i am back at school for a PhD - not those fly by night degrees but from a first class university. i have 3 children, all graduated. so what say you? if i can go back at 51, it is still not too late for you.
get a GED, you need your education if not you won't have a nice future... don't you want a nice future?
';Do you want fries with that?';
Enroll back in high school as soon as you can, and request a referral to your school psychologist. You have likely been struggling with family matters or learning problems that were not resolved. You need support, and it is there for you. Your school psychologist can assess your problems, provide counselling, act as an advocate, and help your teachers to provide accommodations for you. If you have learning disabilities (e.g., dyslexia) you can get special equipment to assist you in class (e.g., software that reads aloud to you over headphones, etc.).
