Are you a self employed childminder in the UK? If so please can you give me some advice?

I have completed all the coursework and an inspector from CSSIW is visiting. Can you tell me what the inspector will do/ask on their visit? Also how long does their visit usually take?

Thanks xAre you a self employed childminder in the UK? If so please can you give me some advice?
The main concern is safety, just as yours would be if you have a child of our own, so stair-gates, secure outside doors, secure windows, fire guards. Kitchen safety and hygiene

Also, adequate toilets and hand-washing facilities

First aid (have the Emergency Services numbers in an obvious place by your phone)

Record keeping

Stimulation - toys, games, play and educative facilities appropriate to the children's ages.

Just imagine that you are a member of the Inspectorate or a Mum leaving their child with you - what would you want them to see. Don't know how long they will stay - maybe an hour. He or she may appreciate the offer of a cuppa!
